Background

A co-owner joined the orthodontic practice in Uster. The existing identity no longer reflected this new constellation – neither in its name nor visually.

What was needed was an identity that gives equal weight to both names, makes the practice's professional expertise visible, and remains approachable at the same time. Because while the patients are mainly children and adolescents, it is primarily their parents who are being addressed.

The result is a consistent identity spanning everything from the naming and the logo, colour palette, and visual language to the new website and print applications.

My Role

Kickoff workshop with analysis and positioning of the practice
Finalisation of the naming
Development of the visual concept including logo, colour palette, typography, and the basic definition of the visual language
Design of the homepage and the template for all subpages, including responsive design
Coordination with the external developer for WordPress setup, implementation, and go-live
Editorial revision and structuring of all website copy
Image selection, preparation for web, and entry of the final content into WordPress
Photo concept with definition of the required motifs, creation of the shooting guide, and coordination with the photographer
On-site support during the shoot and subsequent image editing
Design of print applications such as business cards, letterhead, envelopes, appointment cards, and email signature

The result

The practice now presents itself with a consistent identity – from the website to the signage in the practice rooms and the staff uniforms. The new name and visual concept make it clear that the practice is run jointly by two specialists.
