Background
Sauerteig Habasch was my own passion project. What started as a hobby gradually grew into a small business. Week after week, I baked sourdough bread and croissants, delivered them around the neighbourhood, and sold them at a local corner shop.
At the same time, Sauerteig Habasch was a project in which I could develop branding, design and communications entirely from my own vision. From the naming process through the logo and colour palette to the online shop, everything was built from scratch.
My Role
- Full responsibility for the conception and development of the brand
- Naming and corporate design
- Conception and implementation of the online shop
- Building and managing the social media channels
- Developing the storytelling around the project
- Design of communication materials such as flyers
Conclusion
After three intensive years, the project came to an end in 2025 with a move to a new neighbourhood. What remains is the experience of how much can be achieved with focus, clarity and consistent execution – even in a completely new industry.
